The Challenge
The client needed to migrate from UKG Workforce Central 7.0 to UKG WFM Pro (formerly Dimensions) in the cloud. The legacy WFC software version had been discontinued, and the organization needed to modernize to:
- Maintain modern data security standards
- Improve data analytics capabilities
- Eliminate legacy technical debt
The migration was exceptionally complex:
- The legacy system was highly customized with intricate payroll calculations for unions across multiple states
- The initial implementation was already 18 months behind schedule due to integration test failures and staffing changes
